Ancestral Lineage Healing (ALH) is an approach to cultural repair articulated by Dr. Daniel Foor, founder of the Ancestral Medicine Global Network. As a decolonial gesture, reclaiming ancestral reverence practices supports an expansion of our relational field to include those who have come before us, along with the more-than-human world. Through modernity, these practices have been pathologized, misunderstood, and driven underground. In truth, they are quite normal cultural practices engaged by communities across the globe to support individual & collective well-being.
As a certified ALH practitioner, I utilize this method to support individuals in reconnecting with vibrant ancestors to tend cultural and intergenerational trauma. By coming into deeper relationship with well ancestors, ALH practices may lead to:

Greetings fellow travelers! I'm excited to begin hosting monthly Ancestral Healing Circles and look forward to sharing space with each of you. At a time such as this, as cultural cyclones dance across inner and outer landscapes, the relational bonds forged with loving ancestors have proven to be a formidable anchor. Their support aids in the restoration of right-relationship with change by grounding that transformative process in nature's principles.
Decontextualized change is expressed as exploitation of land & resources, coloniality, and other excessive distributions of decay. That a-relational change-process, removed from context, produces harm. It’s a pattern that ripples out through generations. Ancestral wisdom resides in those waveforms too. Their guidance, insight and support have brought me tremendous comfort in these times.
Let’s join our altars in the spirit of Radical Love to honor and connect with these elder powers. And may the gestures toward them inform our harmonious actions in the world.
